"Today's photo's" White Ibis on the Boardwalk, The Miccosukee Indian Village; and the "Loch Ness" looking photo is actually a Manatee surfacing then diving in the water. The last Manatee photo was actually taken at Lovers Key State Park, while and friend and I were Kayaking.

JANUARY 14, 2012 Red Bellied Woodpecker
. It was a bit cold today, but they were undaunted, and had an adventure in the Everglades. We saw, many species of birds, including the Bald Eagle at the Boardwalk. The Manatee, had moved into the inland area near the Swamp buggy ride; so pictures taking of the Manatee was quite nice. Everyone dressed warm and I suggested they wear rain ponchos to help with the cold air out on Lake Trafford.

This was the first time I saw the baby alligators, they would have been roughly 5 months old when this photo was taken.
The thatched roof is on a Miccosukee Indian Villiage along US41.

Quasimodo the Hunch Back Alligator
This is an Alligator I have seen for 3 years now. He disappeared for awhile, but has reappeared recently. I call him Quasimodo due to the hump he has on his back. Possibly due to an old injury, maybe some kind of birth defect. Not sure why he has a hump back.
Look what was found in the Everglades!!!
I heard about this recently, This was an 80 pound deer found inside this Python; in the Everglades. The snake was 16 feet long, what a meal!!! These snakes are NOT native to the Everglades.
